Quilt Monday

On Saturday I saw a to-die-for quilt at an estate sale but couldn’t bring myself to spend the money they wanted for it. The checkout lady told me to come back the next day because they were going to mark everything down. I went and the quilt was still there and the price had been reduced by 50%!!


The whole thing. Isn’t it beautiful? It is hand quilted.

Gwen got some new bibs. The batiks are made out of my cousin’s old skirt.

And here is the baby blanket finally finished. It is made out of a wonderfully soft cotton/angora blend yarn that used to be a sweater. It is a much prettier blue-green color IRL. You can see the obvious screw-up but it is in the middle so it looks like I did it on purpose.
